About Daniel

Pinner & Harrow Mobile Osteopaths

Daniel graduated from the British School of Osteopathy (since renamed the University College of Osteopathy), Britain's oldest, and largest, Osteopathic school and internationally renowned centre of excellence in 2006. Daniel's training included detailed education in anatomy, neuroanatomy, physiology and pathology. Since his graduation, Daniel has been providing Osteopathic care to patients within North West London.

Daniel's interest in Osteopathy developed from his own back pain, and work in various medically related jobs. Prior to training as an Osteopath Daniel had a background in Holistic and Remedial massage. Daniel believes in taking a holistic approach to each patient as an individual, taking into account their mind, body and environment. Daniel also believes in encouraging and enabling each patient to take responsibility for their own health.

Daniel is a keen recreational runner, having run both the London and Brighton marathons, and taking part in several half marathons each year. As such, while the majority of his patients in all age groups are not runners, Daniel has a runners perspective to, and appreciation of, running injuries.

Daniel is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). The GOsC, established by The Osteopaths Act 1993. provides for the regulation of the Osteopathic profession. Under the provisions of the act, anyone calling themselves an Osteopath has to be registered with the GOsC. To be registered an Osteopath has to be insured and competent, having undertaken training at an accredited college, and undertakes Continuous Professional Development (CPD) each year. Daniel is also a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
